Creative Tweed were commissioned by The Benevolent Society of Blues (BSB) to overhaul their current website and provide a digitised, secure application process.
Key to the success of the BSB was their ability to take applications from current and former pupils looking for financial and emotional support. This was predominantly a paper-based application process and in need of streamlining.
Their processes were reliant on accurate document retention and processing, which required significant manual administration.
The previous iteration of The BSB website was reaching the end of its digital life and required a major overhaul.
Our solution was to rebuild the website from the ground up. The new website was created with a mobile-first approach ensuring that the responsive website design looked great on all devices.
A major component of the new BSB website was the design and coding of a set of Laravel online application forms. These forms allow applicants to apply for funding online, providing a safe and secure portal to upload sensitive documentation.
As well as a bespoke application management dashboard, the application process also required a secure messaging facility – allowing ‘site admins’ to message applicants with questions/requests for supportive information. New application alerts were directly integrated into the application process and overseen with MSTeams integration.
Secure online hosting was provided to safeguard the applicant’s data and comply with GDPR regulations.
