One such space is Moseley Park – situated right in the heart of Moseley. Creative Tweed were approached by the board of trustees to help develop the Park’s logo and redesign their website.
The new Moseley Park identity was created to build a connection between the park, its users and the residents of Moseley. A hand written typeface was chosen to soften its appeal and the use of a hand drawn heart evoked the special relationship the park has with its patrons.
The website was created to showcase the varied and interesting facets to park life, from wildlife information, events and activities through to the park’s rich and interesting history. A key consideration in its design was that, as with the seasons, the Moseley Park website could evolve and change. Colour played a large part in the initial concept, allowing the website to be located firmly within the current season.
We felt it wasn’t just enough to create a well constructed, informative website, there had to be a more deeply connected rationale – capturing the atmospheric nature of this enchanting location. Using the tones and colours of the seasons within the website enabled us to define the park’s atmosphere and allow us to bring the park’s essence into its digital space.
